Preferences

The Preferences tab has three sub-tabs, User, System, and z/OS Options, explained in more detail below.

The User Tab

The User tab in Settings allows you to:
  • Set an Initial Graph Count to determine the number of rows of the grid is shown in the graphs.
    Note: The default value is 25. Entering 0 means show all rows from the grid.
  • Update your Default Report Header to update the the header in all reports.
    Note: There is an option to repeat the header you've created on each page of the generated report output.
  • RESET TO DEFAULTS changes all values back to default on current panel.

The System Tab

The System tab in Settings allows you to set your site's OK, Warning, and Critical limits. Nominal limits cannot be changed. You can also click on any of the colored bars to change the color. These colors are used in data tables when rendering the percentage values. To revert the limits and colored bars back to their defaults, click RESET TO DEFAULTS.

The z/OS Options Tab

The z/OS Options tab in Settings allows you to configure:
  • Byte Calculation
  • Cost per megabyte Disk
  • Cost per megabyte HSM
  • Cost per megabyte Tape
  • Several Tape Capacity settings, including:
    • 3480 (in megabytes) - shown in figure below
    • 3480X (in megabytes) - shown in figure below
