Accessing the SpaceFinder Web UI

You need the following before you can successfully log into the SpaceFinder Web UI for the first time (and all consecutive times):
  • Your mainframe user ID and password
    • Note: Your mainframe user ID must be given access to SAF resources before logging into the SpaceFinder Web UI.
  • Internet browser and your site's URL/IP address for the SpaceFinder Web UI:
    Note: You do not need access to the internet to use SpaceFinder Web UI.
    • Chrome
    • Microsoft Edge
    • Mozilla Firefox
    • Safari

This task describes how to access the SpaceFinder Web UI using an internet browser for the first time.

  1. Open your internet browser (see recommended list above).
  2. Copy and paste your site's URL/IP address into the browser address bar, and then press Enter.
  3. Type in your User ID.
  4. Type in your Password.
  5. Click LOGIN.
