Closing a Query from the Working Area

This task explains how to close a query from the working area.

  1. Select one of the following sections from the sidebar menu:
    • Pool/Volume
    • Datasets
    • DFSMShsm Mgmt
    • Tape
    The branch expands to show subsections and saved queries.
  2. Click once on the query you want to close.
    Important: Double-clicking on the query runs the query and does not open it.
  3. Click
    If your query has unsaved changes, you must select either SAVE AND CLOSE or DISCARD CHANGES AND CLOSE on the Unsaved Changes pop-up before the query can close.
    The query closes and returns you to the subsection where the query is nested.
