Running a Query from the Working Area

This task explains how to run a query from the working area.

  1. Select one of the following sections:
    • Pool/Volume
    • Datasets
    • DFSMShsm Mgmt
    • Tape
    The branch expands to show subsections and saved queries.
  2. Select a saved query by clicking on it once.
    Important: Double-clicking on the query runs the query and does not open it. If you want to run the query from the sidebar menu, see Running a Query from the Sidebar Menu.
  3. Click RUN.
  4. If your query contains one or more incorrect rules, you receive the following pop-up. Once you have acknowledged the pop-up, click CLOSE.
  5. Click RUN again to run the query.
